Leica DM 3000
Laboratory Microscope
Overview

The Leica DM3000 laboratoy microscope with its intelligent automation supports greater efficiency and enhanced user comfort in clinical as well as all other biomedical routine and research applications.

This innovative microscope has been developed for cytology and pathology laboratory environments as well as for biomedical research tasks, including fluorescence. With its unique toggle mode, motorized nosepiece, condenser, and automated light intensity adjustment the Leica DM3000 is suitable for all biomedical applications.

Objective Change at the Touch of a Button

The automated objective turret changes objectives in only half a second. The objectives can be individually selected using the control buttons ergonomically positioned behind the focus knobs. Additionally, six buttons located on the base of the Leica DM3000 laboratoy microscope are assigned to the objective turrets six different magnifications. An optional foot switch reduces manual effort.

Tailored to Every Laboratorys Requirements...

...is the unique toggle mode, which can be used with any two of the six magnifications. The remaining four objectives are still available whenever other magnifications are required. For special requirements, the user also has the possibility of individual programming of the control buttons.

Intelligent Condenser

The motorized condenser knows the optimal position for each magnification: when using 10x or lower objectives, the condenser head automatically swings out - and it automatically returns into its position when higher magnifications are used.

Optimal Light for Each Magnification

The Leica DM3000 laboratoy microscope automatically adjusts the light intensity to each objectives requirements. The intelligent instrument automatically stores any previously-used light value for each magnification. As the brightness impression for the user remains constant, the Leica DM3000 laboratoy microscope also prevents eyestrain from major changes in light intensity.
